So many sad stories... this one was written in an interesting style. I like how so many words in a paragraph rhymed or half-rhymed. That looks like it took a lot of thought and re-writing... but the feeling is still there and strong. Beautiful.

Sorry for disappearing... picture an entire house full of drunk people. And it's crowded, so drunks are spilling out into the yard and there isn't a square foot of that property that isn't covered in drunks, except for the countertop, because that's where the drinks are.

It's my uncle-in-law's birthday party. It's where I was that weekend.
